Working for the federal government may never make you rich, but the flexibility is pretty worth it. Adam has been going in early and leaving early for a while now. The nice thing about him leaving early today is that by the time I got home, he had pretty much doubled the amount of flooring installed. Actually, probably more like tripled. This is where we were at 6:30pm.
As of 9:30, we probably only have 40sf left to do. Woohoo! It's amazing what getting home early enough to make the noise to use power tools will do for you.
Forgive the dust spots on the pictures below since we've been sweeping up more dust. We laid out a couple of the kitchen cabinets to give everyone an idea of what the kitchenette will look like. Now the debate on what color fridge begins - do we do stainless steel, black or white?

White would look best in that space, to lighten it up.

I have to disagree with Fancy and say Stainless. But it's just my opinion....
