Two hours later, we at least left with a slightly damaged cabinet and go home to make sure we are there in time for the washer and dryer to be installed.
We had been told they would come between 1 and 4pm. At 6pm, they finally arrived. It being the Friday before a long weekend, the last place these guys wanted to be was at our house installing appliances. They got them in, showed us they worked, and took off. Turns out, only the hot water worked - they hadn't hooked up the cold water!!! At least they look nice...After they left, we went to another Lowe's to try to get the fridge. The store in Largo had called the store in New Carollton and they promised to put one aside for us. We get there, and again they have no idea what we are talking about. Someone goes back to look and says they have one, but its not in a box and might be damaged. We decide to check it out - if its damaged on the side, we don't care. They bring it out and there is a huge gash down the front of the door. At this point, we are tired, hungry, and convinced the place will never be ready in time. We plead our case, I nearly cry, Adam gets stern. Someone else goes to look and comes back with a refrigerator. Apparently it was right where it was supposed to be and in perfect shape. It only took an hour and a half...

I didn't really get finished photos (we still have a few things to do) and now there are boxes everywhere. Better photos to come when we really actually finish!
Oh, and did I mention that our vacuum died? So we had to take time out and pick up one of those, too!
