House Work

It's been a while since we've had time to complete a new project in the house. Well, I take that back. We finished installing the insulation over Christmas weekend. Adam did a couple of plaster repairs around the house and we touched up all those spots in the hall that got dinged when we moved in. We didn't really think about taking pictures of those.

We also fixed up the closet down in mom's basement. Adam found a radio frequency remote so we could install all of mom's components inside the closet yet control them without having to stand inside the closet. It's pretty cool - the dvd, vcr, wii and tv can be controlled from anywhere in the room. He built a nice shelf to hold all of it too. But we haven't taken pictures of that either.

But I do have one picture! The light in our hallway upstairs was just a boring, generic Home Depot light. We knew we wanted something different, so our anniversary gift to each other was a chandelier and three matching sconces for the hallway. We will do the sconces later, but the chandelier is awesome.
