Christmas was always the biggest holiday in the Stubits household (although Adam claims to have always been a Scrooge). Regardless, his mother always enjoyed Christmas and had the foresight to start a great tradition just weeks after Adam was born. Starting that first Christmas (dare I say it? in 1980!!!), Adam has received a Gorham silver snowflake ornament every year. When Allison came along, she got a Waterford ornament every year. It's a great tradition, and it makes our tree particularly beautiful. It is also a nice memory of their mother, and a tradition they continue for each other.
Putting up our tree this year was a lot like a trip down memory lane since this is the first year we've had all of Adam's ornaments. In the spirit of A Christmas Carol, here are photos from Stubits and Strange family Christmases past.
